Racism has rained up the kpop music scene one again only this time…None of the kpop blogs are reporting it. Racism is kpop dirty little that everyone wants to hide now. You won’t see this on Allkpop, Soompi or Omona.
So the main point of this episode is to see how the members react under ridiculous scenarios. They each have a monitor attached to them to measure their heart rates. Kikwang is up first. As he walks into his situation, he’s already nervous. He sees watermelons set up but they don’t tell him anything yet. They put the make up and afro on him, Kikwang doesn’t say anything but the cast monitoring from the bus is already laughing. They also say that Kikwang doesn’t know what’s going on because he has no mirror in front of him.
After the make up is done, they bring in a mirror. Everybody just kind of laughs and Kikwang’s heart rate increases. Kikwang’s all ‘what kind of CF am I shooting that I have to look like that?’ The cast laughs. The director explains that it’s a watermelon CF and tells him to pick up the watermelon. When he does, there’s head underneath. He’s shocked. Then they tell him to eat the watermelon with various expressions. Etc.
Simply put: Beast’s KiKwand does blackface on some variety show.
