YGfamily.com posted a new notice on Septemeber 12, 2007 in which YG apologizes for T.O.P outfit scandal.
Why is ok for YG Entertainment to apologize for Big Bang’s T.O.P for wearing a jacket that has the Japanese imperial flag but it’s not ok for YG to apologize for Big Bang’s Seungri making ignorant sterotypical comments about Black people?

Probably because no ones making a big deal about it. Like I said before it’s going to die down and people won’t care. I still care about it personally. When YG starts getting a lot of emails about it then he’ll probably deal with it. Until then he obviously doesn’t care. So you have to make him care it. You just have to get the word out. I don’t want to say cause an uprising or anything. Maybe just get enough people to make some noise about it then it will be dealt with.
~vs~ is right…but in truth it’s more about the money…the Korean fans (who are their main target audience) got upset over it, and so since they wield the most buying power, they were top priority. mind you, this doesn’t excuse his neglect, but it is what it is.
oh and btw..what i find to be hilarious is that the ”flag” wasn’t even a flag..it was just a similar design.
It is what it is. Its been awhile since this has happened and there hasn’t been an apology yet. Its not really even about stereotypes. You see BigBang dressing in these gangster style clothes and what culture do they think this style come from? I mean if that is what SeungRi thinks about African-Americans don’t support him seriously. If you continue to support someone who continues that think African Americans will shoot him its not even worth the time of waiting for an apology. What he said is clearly wrong and YG seems to not even care.
You give black people a bad name. I’m so ashamed.
If you knew anything about social anthropology, you’d know that what he said was what we can call “an opinion based on relative truth”. [Relative, because it depends on whose opinion this is and all the factors that go into this opinion] If all he sees on TV is these retarded images of black people on BET, guns, violence, etc–then why shouldn’t he say something like that? Hell, I would, and I’m black! He has every right to think that. Sure, it was an ignorant comment, if you’re thinking as narrow-mindedly as you are. And since you are, it’s only you and people like you [aka other uneducated idiots aka AMERICANS] that think that way. Fact: You’re not the centre of the world, and it’s not that YG doesn’t care about “his black fans”; it’s because he doesn’t understand why no one else thinks the same way as him. ONCE AGAN, “opinion based on relative truth”.
^
where are you from may i ask?
that’s quite a narrow-minded statement to say all Americans are “uneducated idiots” no? hmm…..
oh yeah,if you respected yourself as a “black” person, then why would another black person who speaks out against those “retarded images of black people on BET, guns, violence, etc–” make you ashamed?
…why?
You’re making yourself sound very pompous with your “social anthropology” shpeal because the blog owner also has an “opinion based on truth” as well. or does her “opinion
based on truth” not count because they do not agree with you?
are you bitter over something? did you just decide to come to this blog to and cause ruckus because that’s what it sounds like..making personal attacks…spewing contradictions…being an all around jerk…hmmmm..you actually had a decent argument until you tossed it out the window with your personal vendetta against Blog Owner.
Honestly hun, you would’ve had a better argument if you hadn’t attempted to be sarcastic (because it failed) and a smart aleck(because it too; failed).
have a nice weekend.
*correction:
did you just decide to come to this blog to and cause ruckus because that’s what it sounds like.
should be:
did you just decide to come to this blog to bitch and cause ruckus because that’s what it sounds like.
Hello thina and friends….seems like you’re the problem child now.
anonymous one said “You see BigBang dressing in these gangster style clothes and what culture do they think this style come from?” uh, NO. Do not say Black people are the majority who wear gangster style clothes because that is, again, another ignorant stereotype. Mexicans, Asians, whites, etc all wear ‘gangster style clothes.’
yes sweety thank you 4 pointing out the obvious but where did that style originate from uhh idk lets stop being fucking retated and think 4 a min O black people
jeez wow he mad a comment about black people so what yall r bein way 2 serious
